The Alliances expansion introduces powerful guilds you need to sway to
your side, using influence, a resource shared by all the players. It
also includes power skulls that drain resources when you enter their
spaces, 2 new heroes, 12 guild companions, and 20 new treasures. There
are no changes to the Alliances expansion for the 2nd printing.
