The Day is Ours! - The Battle for Princeton 1777
The Day is Ours! Simulates the battle that further discomfited the
British who had, until Trenton days before, believed their war against
the colonies was nearly won. The Crown advance on Princeton on January
2nd was masterfully delayed by a force of American riflemen and other
troops, leaving a short window before nightfall for the Crown to make
several wasteful attacks against the entrenched Americans behind
Assunpink Creek on the south side of Trenton. The Americans stole a
march on the crown that night, leaving Trenton in the Darkness to strike
at their rear in Princeton and threaten their base and war chest at
Brunswick.
