Galenus is an excellent game for anyone interested in medicine in general and for

medical professionals in particular. As a player you are placed in the role of a gifted and

promising medicus in Rome in the year 176 CE. Following the teachings of your hero

Galenus, who is still practicing at that time, you strive to combine medical practice with

reflection, philosophy and scientific analysis. Patients are easy to find in a very

unhealthy city, where the life expectancy at birth is 19 years.

Heal the sick in Rome, journey to Lemnos for herbs, join sects that you meet the

thermal baths, patch up gladiators at the arena later known as Colosseum and prevail

medical competitions against the other players to become the heir of Galenus titel as

the greatest medicus of all time.
