Uppdateringskit och promokort till Speakeasy.

Den första tryckningen av Speakeasy har ett tryckfel där spelbrädet inte uppdaterats efter en regeljustering. Uppdateringskitet korrigerar detta. Det går även utmärkt att spela med originalregeln, i så fall behöver brädet inte justeras. Så här skriver tillverkaren:

You can let customers know that, regarding the game design, the original intent by Vital Lacerda was for the casino to require protection, though this was later changed in the rules. Vital has noted that the game plays perfectly well either way. Players simply need to decide whether to follow the board icon or the written rules before they begin.

Speakeasy Update Pack

We looked at options to address the board icon errata. This took some time as we needed to receive quotes and timelines for making the options available. While no solution will best fit every factor, we have taken the steps to put together a Speakeasy Update Pack which will comprise of:

  • Reprinted gameboard (without the Protected shield icon)
  • Decal for the Associate Ability clarification (in both English and Deutsch)
  • Five New Promo Helper cards - These are not player abilities, but Helper cards with unique bonuses that can be added to the Helper card deck.


Promo Helper Cards

The Update Pack adds five unique Promo Helper cards to Speakeasy that can be used at all player counts. Four of the Promo Helper cards feature one of the four building types and a fifth Helper card features Family Members at the Docks:

  • Family Members: $1
  • Speakeasies: $1
  • Casinos: $2
  • Nightclubs: $2
  • Stills: $5

During final scoring, in addition to gaining the amount for this new unique bottle, gain the amount shown on the Helper card based on your protected buildings or your Family Members at the Docks. To add these Helper cards to the game, simply shuffle them into the Helper deck during setup.
